Hamsika Iyer is een van India’s meest veelzijdige zangeressen, bekend van wereldhits als Chammak Challo met Akon, maar net zo thuis in klassieke raga’s, folk en fusion. Ze werkte samen met grootheden als A.R. Rahman, Zakir Hussain en Prem Joshua, en haar stem klinkt zowel in Bollywoodfilms als op internationale podia.
